ABOUT US

Helping Lives...Changing Destinies.

Our major objective is to cater for the happiness and well-being of women and children (Widows & Orphans), putting smiles on their faces and lifting their burden on hardship.

WHAT WE DO......

For the growth of any society, access to quality education is key, Hence we donate educational materials to schools.

We are passionate about feeding the hungry. We have fed over 500 pupils in Qur’anic schools, Almajiris in the market places, and clothe them.

Our Empowering program provides Widows & Orphans with the opportunity to take control of their own lives.

OUR IMPACT

What our members have to say concerning our impact.

Barr. Hafsat Abiola Usman

IIETA foundation was set up as a charity organisation to assist the needy and the indigents in our midst as a means of fulfilling our duty as a member of the Ummah The Qur'an reminds us that there is a “recognised right, for the needy and deprived” over our wealth (70:24-5), so by giving for the sake of others, a Muslim is fulfilling a duty to those in need and preventing him or her from becoming proud of their own generosity. Alhamdulillah IIETA FOUNDATION has over the years performed such duties through feeding the needy, contributing to the construction of Islamiyya schools, providing school uniforms, payment of school fees for orphans, Ramadan feeding and many other laudable projects through the monthly monetary contributions of its members drawn across the 36 states of Nigeria. We are using this opportunity to urge all members of our Ummah especially those blessed bountifully in monetary Rizk to embrace this lofty mission and contribute regularly to the foundation. The benefits of giving sadaqa is unquantifiable, The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire” (Hadith, Tirmidhi). He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqa: “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).

The major aim of IIETTA CHARITY FOUNDATION is to enhance living conditions better for women, children, orphans, the needy, widows, the less privileged, the sick, and the disabled, assist in providing skills to earn a living, help mosques, assist the bereaved families and maintenance of graveyards and so on with items such as food, water, money, clothes, carpets, mats, kettles, Qu'ran, organizing Qu'ranic ceremonies for children. The Qu'ran reminds us that there is a "recognized right, for the needy and deprived" over our wealth(70:24-5), so by giving for the sake of Allah (SWT), a Muslim is fulfilling a duty to those in need and preventing him or her from becoming proud of their own generosity. Doing sadaqah gives you the virtue of entering paradise. Practicing sadaqah has a positive impact on mental health and well-being, of both the giver and the receiver. I am a member of this charity work as I fully recognize it and I want the Muslim ummah far and near to support it so as to succeed and fulfill these rites as ordained by Allah (SWT).
