Empowering

The definition of empowerment is to “make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.” We are incredibly passionate about empowering widows & orphans, and our microfinance programs are an excellent way to provide people with the assistance they need to realize their goals and aspirations.

These widows can develop their bravery, realize their potential, and take charge of their own lives with our Empowering program. It helps them become independent, realize what abilities they have, what they can achieve, and how they can themselves care for their families by giving them the training, resources, and encouragement they need.

Over the years, we have offered a wide range of courses, from selling perishable items to tailoring, and the participants’ passion and commitment have been amazing. People thrive, lives are altered, and hope is restored when given the proper support, assistance, and encouragement, as we have frequently discovered.

Our Empowering program’s goal is to help widows & orphans who are yearning to start their own business or manage and operate it more effectively. We work with a person to assist them expand their business and encourage them to become self-sufficient so they may feel a feeling of self-worth and purpose. We merely try to lend a hand so that individuals might feel empowered to continue.

A lot of the companies are very small-scale and only have a little stall where they sell things like fish, veggies, and samosas. Others work as carpenters, tailors, and hair stylists in addition to caring for hens and selling eggs. They may not be large-scale businesses, but they do assist support families and give them an income they wouldn’t otherwise have. For some of them, sitting and selling their homegrown bread and veggies requires confidence. The booth is frequently made of a plank of wood placed on bricks or plastic with the items spread out along it.

They don’t have a place of their own, even a shop front, or a place to store their items after hours. But to this person, it is something to value, work toward, and concentrate on. Our staff has closely collaborated with them on it, assisting them in putting an idea into action and working to launch it.

When we think about empowerment, we see someone smiling with hope.
